In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
