Combatants smirk as they ride on the rear of a pick-up truck, speeding by a line of several dead bodies and heading towards the sinking African evening sky.

These individuals are rejoicing over a massacre that humanitarian officials fear killed over two thousand civilians in the Sudanese city of el-Fasher in recent weeks.

A Community Severed from the Globe

Updates presenting its militiamen handing out supplies to residents were circulated by several individuals, while the paramilitary's public relations unit published numerous clips claiming to show the proper management of military prisoners of war.

Despite the digital effort being employed by the militia, their conduct in al-Fashir have generated worldwide outrage.
