Passionate followers of the actress are demanding that a man who breached a barricade and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Past Trauma

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Numerous of Singapore attendees had queued up to meet the cast of Wicked

Numerous of attendees had gathered in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the sequel of a dual version of the well-known Broadway and West End show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, securing a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
