The Red Devils Poised to Sign German Striker Lea Schüller from the Bavarian Giants

Manchester United are finalising completing the signing for prolific German forward Lea Schüller in a permanent move away from Bayern Munich.

A Marquee Acquisition for United

The forward, with six months left on her contract, has been a consistent goal-getter for both club and country. Having scored more than 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for Germany. Her arrival is viewed as a marquee signing for the WSL side.

Her exit from Bayern was expected since she was seen holding back emotions while thanking the club's fans after a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.

Reports in December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was losing one of its leading strikers. According to reports, all the paperwork for the transfer are now finalised.

The experienced striker's signing should represent a significant uplift to United’s attacking options. Schüller has been remarkably reliable with her finishing in Germany’s top flight.
